No doors fly open as lifelong held views of the universe are shattered to the core. The disk lands gently on its silver legs. "What do we have here? " a man asks himself at the controls. He does not sound particularly excited about his landing, either. A rectangular panel extends from the side of the disk. Metallic footsteps can be heard. The man from Earth walks onto the surface of one of his sibling planets. Berth. Exactly 2 types of cars and 1 type of truck prowl the highway as he walks contemptuously towards it. He steps onto the asphalt. He taps his foot as he waits for the car approaching him to arrive. It comes screeching to a halt unnecessarily close to him. At no point does the man in the road look worried. He pulls out a clipboard from his coat as he walks to the driver's window. He can see the generic face of a blonde Caucasian male behind the wheel. He taps on the window with his gloved knuckles. The man turns his head toward him and plays a gesture of surprise, as if seeing him for the first time. He pushes a button and the window slams down. Another car approaches and stops behind him. "Hello. " The man behind the wheel says. I am from Earth. Just here to do an inspection. " "Hello. " "Do you have any other responses? " "Hello? " the man turns his face comically inquisitive. "So you have control over intonation, but not general intent? ' the man asks as he ticks boxes on his clipboard-held paper. "Hello! " the man says amiably. "That's pretty fucking depressing. " the man says neutrally. The man standing at the window turns to walk to the next vehicle. "Goodbye. " The man says as he walks away. He arrives at the next car, an exact replica of the last car. He taps on the window. A Caucasian female notices him for the first time. He notices that the last car is still idling where he left it. The window slams down. Just doing an inspection. " "Good morning. " "How has your day been today? " "Good morning. " "Are you aware that there are two other lanes you can drive on? " "Good morning? " The man sighs. He walks away from the car. He knows all he needs to. His steps resound angrily as he walks off of the road and back toward his ship. He is halfway there when he sees a flash, as a man wearing white robes appears before him. "Greetings, mortal. " the man says in a booming voice. The inspector does not stop. "Pass. " he says aggravatedly. "Excuse me? " the apparition says, his voice losing a bit of its booming quality. "I don't want to talk to you. I can barely stand to look at you. " the inspector says as he walks past. The apparition seems hurt. "Why? " The inspector does not stop. He walks up the ramp and off of Berth forever. The apparition watches as he lifts gently away. "Rude. ".

Not sure if whatever happened there was relateto the accident but it was a wierd coincidence, I had bad nightmares for weeks after the accident about the accident and would wake all the time to the sound of glass shattering and tires screeching from the accident as well as other wierd shit. It combines today's tech with a classic scary horror story. The plot and action build to a bunch of jump-out-of-your-seat moments that took me by surprise. Great believable cast, including Kevin Pollack, who plays a truly evil sinister role. The fact that it is based on true events, and was filmed at the very haunted building where the story took place, makes it even more creepy. Not sure you want the little kids to see this, at least not at night just before bed. But I'll be watching this again.
